Android Debug Mode Not Working? Try This trick

Earlier today, I explained what Android usb debugging mode does and how to turn it on, on devices running Android OS 2.x and newer. While going through some threads on some Android forums, I noticed that some people are finding it difficult to enable the usb debug mode on their Android device.

Access to the USB Debugging Mode option on devices running on Android 4.2 and newer has been hidden by default. So, if USB debugging is not available in the settings of your Android device, you will need to unlock the feature.

To unlock the USB debugging mode, launch the “Settings” app of your Android device, scroll down and tap “About Device“. Then tap on the “Build Number” seven times.

The option should now be unlocked and you can enable or disable it manually by going to “Settings” -> “Developer Options”.

That’s all.
