If you install Android Device manager app on your phone, enable it as a “device administrator“, signed in to your Google Account and turn on location access, you will be able to track the phone whenever it gets missing.
You will be able to find its approximate location on a map and when it was last used on the Android Device Manager website, on an Android wear device or by making use of another Android phone that has Android manager application installed on it.
Once you locate your device, you can remotely ring, lock, or erase it using Android Device Manager.
