Apple yesterday revealed a new OS along with tvOS 14. The latest iteration in the Apple TV box interface comes with new features starting with multi-user support, picture-in-picture and audio sharing with AirPods. Adaptive lighting for smart light bulbs, support for HomeKit Cameras with face recognition and 4K content over AirPlay also come in the new update.
Apple TV will also allow streaming on YouTube in 4K resolution. It also supports Xbox Elite 2 and Adaptive controllers. Apple’s tvOS 14 is coming around August for both the 4K and HD Apple TV boxes. The developer version is already available on Apple’s dev site while a public beta program is set to arrive next month.
