Apple’s new AirPods Pro features a sound-isolating in-ear design with silicone ear tips, and a noise-cancellation feature which can be switched to a transparency mode that allows surrounding sounds in. The AirPods Pro comes with three different sizes of silicone ear tips and is sweat and water resistant.
Apple has incorporated a vent system into the AirPods Pro to equalize pressure, and minimize the discomfort associated with other in-ear designs.
The force sensors on the AirPods Pro have been designed differently from the regular AirPods in a way that you can tap to control the playback functions and transparency mode but you still need your device to increase or decrease the volume.
The AirPods Pro has an adaptive EQ system that automatically tunes the low- and mid-frequencies of the music to the shape of an individual’s ear. There is hands-free access to Siri along with Apple’s custom designed H1 wireless chip which was also used in the Powerbeats Pro.
For the battery, the AirPods Pro gives 5 hours of playback on a single charge and 4.5 hours with active noise cancellation. The AirPods Pro charging case is cute, it can be wirelessly recharged via a Qi charging mat and works with Qi-certified chargers or the Lightning connector.
