Years ago the multitasking feature was introduced on iPads, but Google’s Gmail didn’t support it until now. The app will now appear on the Dock where all multitasking-supporting apps are listed and can be used alongside Google Photos or Google Calendar.
Multitasking on iPad is really useful seeing as it comes with a native drag-and-drop feature for texts or images.
A short message from Google said that the app should already work both for G Suite customers and end-users with personal accounts, but the users need to have the latest version. Customers have also been ur to “Allow Multiple Apps” in the Home screen menu of Settings, as well as enabling keyboard shortcuts for Gmail.
