Being an online entrepreneur, I receive alot of text messages which include bank transaction alerts, payment notifications from people that pay for my products and services and to be honest with you, I don’t really like anyone else accessing my phone to see all those messages especially my girl friends..lol.
For me to hide the sms on my Tecno M7, I have to search Google Play for App lock for Android. Fortunately, I stumbled on Vault app for Android which features an App lock that lets me protect any app with a password. The app is so cool and makes it very easy for me to have full control over my privacy.
If you also want to lock the Text Messages on your Android, be it HTC, Tecno or Samsung Androids, download & install Vault on your Android, set your password, launch the app and login with your password.
Then, tap the “App Lock” icon. Thereafter, tap the “+” sign. This will bring up the list of all installed apps on your Android.
Tap the Messages app and tap the ‘Lock‘ button.
Thereafter, Vault will prompt you to enter your password anytime you or your friends want to access your messages.
