Twitter has added a new feature to its social media application, voice tweets. A new button dedicated to audio recording will now be situated next to the one used to add photos. This is to compliment the short text-based messaging.
The new feature is available to just iOS users for now.

Audio can be recorded for up to 140 seconds, which is about 2mins 20 secs long. The audio when tweeted can be replayed using a dedicted audio player.
For now there is no information on when android users will be getting this new feature but it is being rolled out now to users of Apple devices.
Android users should be getting the feature soon hopefully.
