China’s TENAA has certified two unknown Vivo phones with model numbers V1962A and V1962BA which are expected to be versions of vivo S6 5G, unveiling on March 31.
Vivo’s V1962A and V1962BA have a number of similar specs but the V1962BA has G1 written on its rear. Both phones come with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with FullHD+ resolution and an in-display fingerprint reader. Waterdrop notches are seen in the display with 32MP selfie cameras situated in them. The previously leaked image that showed a dual selfie camera on the Vivo S6 5G might just be for a different phone.
Vivo officially confirmed that the phone will feature a quad camera on the back with a 48MP main unit and now, it has been revealed that the main unit will be combined with one 8MP module which is probably an ultrawide unit and two 2MP modules which may be macro and depth sensors.
The V1962A and V1962BA run Android 10 probably layered with Funtouch OS 10 on top. The phones have 2.2GHz octa-core processors and will come in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB memory configurations. With 4,390mAh batteries, the phones will charge through USB-C ports.
