Code To Borrow Credit On Airtel Network

Airtel Talk Time Advance service is a service that enables customers that have been on the airtel network for a minimum period of three (3) months to request for airtime (credit) in advance without using physical recharge cards to top up their airtime balance.

If you opt in for this service, you will be able to borrow credit from Airtel. The borrowed airtime credit is deducted when you recharge your line. The denominations of airtime available for lending on the airtel Talk Time Advance service are: N5, N100, N200 and N500.

To borrow credit on Airtel, dial *500#.

This will provide the denomination of airtime available for you to borrow.

There will be a 10% service charge for any amount borrowed. The 10% service charge is deducted directly from the borrowed credit implying that if you borrow N50, you will only get N45 but N50 will be deducted from your airtime when next you recharge.
