A while ago, this blog was updated with alternatives to opera mini for Windows Phone. In the article, it was said that it is less likely that Opera makes a mini browser for Lumias and other devices that run Windows Phone OS.
Now scratch that!
The official Opera Mini from ASA software for Windows Phone is here! The app reached the Windows Phone store early this week but was plagued with bugs and sort. Today, it picked an update and the update has given it more stability alongside numerous bug fixes so browsing with Opera Mini for Windows Phone should be fine now.
Opera Mini browser works fine on my Lumia 720. Although it is nothing compared to what UC Browser offers me, I still have a feeling it’s going to be my most used browser on the Lumia device. We hope to see new features added as time goes on.
