The entry-level smartphone, Gionee Max has made it to in India. The phone comes with the Spreadtrum’s SC9863A SoC at the helm and 2GB RAM.
It boots Android 10 out of the box, comes with 32GB of storage onboard, and has a microSD card slot that expands storage by 256GB.
The Gionee Max packs a 6.1-inch HD+ display, and a 5MP selfie camera situated in the notch up top. The rear is equipped with a 13MP primary camera joined by a Bokeh camera.
The Gionee Max comes with a Face Unlock feature, but no fingerprint reader. It packs a really cool 5,000 mAh battery, which supports reverse charging, so it can be used to charge other devices.
The Gionee Max comes in Black, Red, and Royal Blue colors, with its pricing at INR5,999 ($80/€70). It is scheduled to go on sale in India from August 31 through Flipkart.
