Huawei took the wraps off its latest addition to the Mate family earlier this month with Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro. Now reports suggest that the smartphone maker has added yet another smartphone to its Mate 9 series and this time it is the Mate 9 Lite.
The smartphone will feature a 5.5-inch 1080 LCD display with 2.5D curved glass on top and will be powered by Kirin 655 SoC with an octa-core CPU. The Huawei Mate 9 Lite will offer 4GB RAM and come in 2 storage variants, 32GB and 64GB internal storage.
The smartphone is 8.2mm thick and weighs 162 grams and its design is quite similar to the premium Mate 9 line-up with a full metal body.
The Huawei Mate 9 Lite retains the dual rear camera with 12MP and 2MP rear cameras along with an 8MP front camera. The smartphone will be running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will be backed by a 3340mAh battery.
The smartphone will be available in gold, grey and silver colour variants.
