Huawei’s new foldable phone, the Mate Xs was introduced just days ago and now sales of the Mate Xs have been set to begin on March 5. China will be the first place where the Mate Xs will be available.
The Huawei Mate Xs comes with an updated chipset, a better hinge, the latest EMUI 10 and 5G support. The foldable device comes with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. The device holds on to some of the features of the previous foldable like the 55W fast charging.
The Huawei Mate Xs features an unfolded 8-inch screen which goes into a dual-display device once folded. The foldable phone doesn’t come with Google Services but Huawei has been working on alternatives so that shouldn’t be an issue.
The price of the Mate Xs should start at €2,499 and in China about CNY16,999, which is about €2,225/$2,400. The Huawei Mate Xs is already live at Vmall.com.
