Huawei has confirmed plans for an event to present some of its new devices on February 23. There is some uncertainty concerning Huawei going through with its own event because the confirmation came after the MWC 2020 was cancelled.
At Huawei’s event, if at all it is to hold, we should see a number of new devices including a foldable phone, laptop, smartwatch, True Wireless Buds, tablet, TV, VR headset and a car-related product.
The foldable phone is expected to ba a Mate Xs, which should retain the design of the Mate X and come with a Kirin 990 5G chipset. In a certification listing, the Mate Xs was detailed to be capable of 65W fast charging.
Rumor has it that the Mate Xs will have a lower starting price than its predecessor, the Mate X. More details will be updated here as soon as they pop up.
