Apple new big screen iPad Pro along with its new “Apple Pencil” for precision drawing input were also announced the same day iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus were unveiled.
The Apple iPad Pro features a big 12.9″ display with 2732 x 2048 pixels resolution and promises battery life of 10 hours if you are to use it nonstop.
The iPad Pro comes comes with a new accessory called announced Apple Pencil. Since the Apple Pencil is an active stylus, it comes with a lightning port and you’ll have to recharge it on a regular basis.
Apple announced another exclusive accessory for the iPad Pro – the Smart Keyboard; an external keyboard, which is magnetically attached via the new magnetic smart connector to allow you experience a full-blown keyboard on your iPad Pro.
Apple iPad Pro runs on iOS 9 by default and it supports picture-in-picture and spilt screen view. Apple says the iPad Pro is faster than 90% of all portable PCs shipped within the last year.
The Apple iPad Pro comes with 1.2MP front camera and same 8MP iSight back camera the Apple iPad Air 2 offered. Supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fiac, and optional LTE Cat.4. There is a Touch ID sensor as well. iPad Pro puts a speaker on each corner of the device, and balances audio between them as you change its orientation.
How Much is iPad Pro, Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard?
Apple iPad Pro will become available in November in Silver, Space Gray and Gold. The available storage options are 32GB ($799) and 128GB ($949). The LTE model comes with 128GB only and costs $1079 in US dollars.
The Smart Keyboard will cost you $169, while the Apple Pencil is priced at $99.
Hence, iPad Pro 128GB LTE:$1079 + Smart Keyboard:$169 + Apple Pencil:$99 = $1347
