Xiaomi has globally launched its Redmi Note 9 lineup, with the major exception of China. The basic Redmi Note 9 will be launched as Redmi 10X, and the latest official posters with a brand ambassador which confirms previous speculations. A teaser also revealed a launch is scheduled for May 26 at 2 PM local time.
The Russian website Xiaomishka’s sources reveals that two more phones will come alongside the Redmi 10X – Redmi 10X 5G, and Redmi 10X Pro 5G.
The Redmi 10X with LTE will arrive as a rebranded Redmi Note 9 in China. The Redmi 10X 5G packs only three cameras but no visible fingerprint scanner.
The Redmi 10X Pro 5G will have four cameras and an LED flash in the rectangle setup, but the images show that the power button won’t double as a fingerprint scanner, meaning both 5G phones could have OLED screens.
