After I reset my Infinix Zero 4 Plus to factory settings, I decided to re-download some of my Favorite apps including skitch, to the smartphone. I was shocked to discover that Skitch for Android is no longer listed for download in the google app store. My search for skitch redirected me to download the “sketch” app.
So, I decided to google it and guess, what? it has officially been removed from the google play store. I learnt Evernote officially terminated support for Skitch for Windows, Windows Touch, iOS, and Android on January 22 i.e they are no longer available for download since that date.
“As part of our promise to focus on improving the core Evernote experience, we are ending support for several… standalone apps,” Evernote said in a statement. Nevertheless, Skitch will continue to work for existing users and Evernote still offers Skitch for Mac for download and also provide support, too. Skitch is also still available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
So, if you’re still interested in the app, you will have to download skitch for android apk.
