Oppo has debuted the latest member of its F series, the Oppo F15. The new smartphone looks a lot like the Oppo A91 which was launched about a month ago.
The Oppo F15 comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone’s panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage which is expandable via the microSD slot.
On the camera front, the 16MP selfie camera is situated in the small waterdrop notch in the top center of the phone. The rear carries a quad-cam setup with a 48MP main shooter combined with an 8MP ultrawide cam which can also take macro shots 3-8cm away from subjects. The other sensors on the rear are a 2MP monochrome shooter and a 2MP depth helper.
The battery has a 4,000mAh capacity which supports 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging. The phone runs on Oppo’s famous ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9 Pie.
The Oppo F15 will be available in Unicorn White and Lightning Black colors. The smartphone is scheduled to start official sales by January 24 with its pricing at INR 19,990 ($282). Pre-bookings via Amazon and Flipkart have begun.
