The Powerbeats 4 have officially been unveiled and they pack the same audio standard and IPX4 sweat resistance as the Powerbeats Pro which actually cost $250. The new Powerbeats 4 will be available days from now costing $150.
The Powerbeats 4 come with a longer lasting battery and better Bluetooth connectivity.
Unlike the Pro, the Powerbeats 4 has a cable that connects the two buds. The new Apple earbuds feature an Apple H1 chip for quick Bluetooth pairing, the battery lasts about 15 hours and a quick 5 minute charge gives 1.5 hours playback time. The buds charge over a USB-A Lightning port.
Two Powerbeats 4 can be connected to a single iPhone using the Audio Sharing feature. The Powerbeats 4 can be purchased from Apple, Best Buy and other Beats product retailers by March 18. They will come in White, Black and Red colors.
