[dropcap]V[/dropcap]ersion 2.11.230 of Whatsapp for Android is now available for download from Whatsapp website. If Whatsapp groups annoy you simply because of those frequent notifications, this update will surely put some smiles on your face.
The latest update have options that let users to mute a Whatsapp group for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year and even for 1 century. 🙂 Besides that, you can now also choose to hide groups silent notifications (untick “Show notifications”), thereby making a group to be totally silent.
More so, if you install this update, you will notice a new camera icon next to the text input field in the chat box. Tapping/clicking the icon will let you quickly take a photo and send it to to your contact, similar to how snapchat works.
