Towards the last days of 2019, Oppo unveiled the Reno3 and Reno3 Pro. A new Oppo phone has made an appearance on TENAA carrying the model number, PCLM50. The new Oppo smartphone has been certified by TENAA, though no pictures have been seen yet.
The lack of pictures is one thing but the full spec sheet of the phone was released. The spec sheet reveals that the new phone has a faster CPU than the Reno3 but has the same weight and size as the Reno3.
The Oppo PCLM50 comes with a chipset having a 5G modem and a CPU with the ability to reach up to 2.4 GHz. Oppo Reno3 is runs on Mediatek’s fastest Dimensity 1000 platform, it is expected that the phone will come with the same chipset on the Reno3 Pro, the Snapdragon 765G SoC. With the RAM listed as 8GB, the phone has two storage options, 128GB or 256GB, with no microSD slot.
The upcoming phone will have four cameras on its rear with a 48MP main camera, combined with an 8MP snapper, likely an ultrawide camera, and two 2MP modules that are likely for background blur and macro pictures. The front will sport a 32MP camera which is exactly the same as both Reno3 devices.
