Vivo announced yesterday that it is suspending its V19 launch indefinitely and other of its new products due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Realme has joined the wagon by announcing that it has suspended all upcoming launches in India due to the outbreak in the country, which includes the Narzo 10 series launch which was supposed to be held tomorrow at 12:30PM local time (7 AM UTC) through a pre-recorded video.

Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth made the announcement just after the Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi gave the order for a 21-day nationwide lockdown yesterday in an attempt to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Realme earlier announced that the Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A sales will be delayed in India till further notice but will proceed to launch the phones on March 26.

Not only has Realme suspended the launches of new products in India but the company has also put a pause on its ‘Make in India’ facility in the country until further notice from the government.

Realme and Vivo have stopped their launches but we are yet to see if Xiaomi will follow.
