Samsung previously released a software update for the Galaxy Note9 which came along with a December 2019 security patch for the smartphone.
The company is now rolling out a new firmware for those enrolled in the beta program.
The beta build which is based on Android 10 doesn’t bring in any new features to the Galaxy Note9, but it fixes issues related to Samsung DeX UI crashing and the phone rebooting after connecting to a mobile hotspot.
This updated firmware with version number N960FXXU4ZSKH, is about 325MB in size and bumps up the Android security patch level on the Note9 to December 1, 2019.
The update is currently taking root in the UK and should expand to other regions soon.
