The Oppo Find X2 is expected to be unveiled before the month of march runs out. Oppo VP Shen Yiren said on Weibo that “success” is defined differently for different phones – if you want thin and light, get the Reno3 Pro he said. If you want flagship hardware, he added, then choose the Oppo Reno Ace or Find X2.
The VP’s statement hinted that the new Find X2 will be a little thicker than the Reno3 Pro. The original Find X, was also on the thick side but it had a pop-up module which held both front and rear cameras.
The Find X2 might probably be the first phone to support 50W wireless charging. The new smartphone is expected to arrive with a ‘waterfall’ display along with 120Hz refresh rate and top of the line color rendering.
The Oppo Find X2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 865, naturally, and will use an image sensor with “omnidirectional” autofocus (the successor to Dual Pixel AF).
