An update has been released for the Gear S2, a smartwatch that was launched in October 2015. The update carries the version number R730AUCU3CQK1 and has a size of 6.79MB.
This new update brings with it a way better battery life and implementation of stability code for device security, but early adopters claim it also comes with a new UI which is the same as the Galaxy Watch Active2.
The update helps you clear all notifications at once as opposed to them being cleared one after the other which was how it was done previously. Though the regions getting the update have not been confirmed, users can check for it by opening the Galaxy Wearable app on their smartphone, and tapping the Download and install option in the Watch software update menu.
