Two new Bluetooth audio devices have been announced by Sony, the WF-XB700 earbuds and the WH-CH710N headphones.
The WF-XB700 are a part of Sony’s Extra Bass series of audio devices. They come with an in-ear design, an IPX4 rating of sweat-resistance but there are no fins or loops to secure the earbuds during workouts. The WF-XB700 buds use physical buttons, not gesture control like a lot of wireless buds do today and they do not have active noise-cancellation.
They last about 9 hours on a single charge and 18 hours in total with the charging case. They cost $130 and come in Blue and Black colors.
The WH-CH710N headphones feature improved noise-cancellation with the use of dual microphones and is said to give 35 hours playback time.
The design has been refurbished to look like more recent Sony headphones. They cost $200 and come in Black, White or Blue colors.
