Updated 3D Scanning Has Arrived On Samsung Galaxy Note10+

Samsung’s Galaxy Note10+ came equipped with a ToF module which enables depth mapping and 3D scanning of objects. This implies that it allows you to scan objects from multiple angles to create a 360-degree model of them.

The 3D scan were not as great as they were expected to be because the results came with quite a number of errors. It was also initially a problem capturing people with this feature. An update has come through for this feature and it now has a dedicated person mode.

You now have the option to choose between the “person” and “thing’ modes depending on the task that needs to be performed. The resulting scans should be noticeably better this time around.

To try out the improved 3D scanning feature you would need to update the app through the Galaxy Store.
