An Oppo launch event is scheduled to hold on April 13 for the Reno Ace 2 which is set to bring the latest flagship components with it, including the Snapdragon 865 chipset, dual-mode 5G connectivity and 65W wired fast-charging. Also the phone is said to have 40W wireless charging capabilities and now a new listing on the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) confirms Oppo’s plans to bring a 40W AirVOOC wireless charger.
With a white and grey design, the new Qi charging pad features a tray designated for placing the phone on the right and a probable spinning fan on the top left side. A plethora of air vents is seen at the bottom to help dissipate heat and also gives us a look at the charger’s specs. The max output is rated at 65W likely through a plugged-in cable and wireless method maxes at 40W.
Information about pricing and availability is yet to be revealed.
