Code For Checking BVN Number With Mobile Phone On MTN, Airtel, Etisalat and Glo Network

After you might have done your Bank Verification Number registration with a Nigerian bank, you can easily check your BVN number with your mobile phone on MTN, Airtel, Etisalat or Glo network by dialing the code : *565*0#.

Thereafter, Nigerian Interbank Settlement System (NIBSS) will display the BVN associated with your mobile phone number.

The service does not require internet service but charges apply. So, if you don’t have airtime on your phone, the bvn ussd code might not work for you.

Kindly note that the bvn code will only work if you dial it on the GSM line you used for the BVN registration.

Once you know your bvn number, ensure you link it to all your bank accounts. If you fail to do so, you will not able to withdraw from the bank accounts.
