The EZcast [[[HDMi Dongle]]] is a stick that you can plug into the HDMI port on your TV or projector to turn your TV into an external display for your phone, tablet or PC. You could mirror your phone’s screen, for instance, or use your HDTV as an extended desktop display for your Windows PC.
With the EZcast HDMi dongle, you can cast the contents of any Wi-Fi enabled device like phone/tablet/windows pc on your TV screen. It can also be used for sharing online streaming to TV. Users can play video, photo, games and files from [[[iPad]]], iPhone, Android phones, tablet PCs to HDTV or projector through HDMI port wirelessly.
With EZCast, you can browse and surf the internet on the large screen i.e while browsing on your mobile device, the dongle lets you showcase it on the large screen too (TV).
Unlike Chromecast which uses Google Cast protocol to stream content, EZcast dongle uses Miracast and EZCast technology. It also works across platforms via EZCast Apps for Android, iOS, MacOS and Windows. It can be used for LCD/LED TV set, Projector, Monitor with HDMI input.
The dongle supports Miracast as long as your device have this function. It also supports Apple Airplay and the DNLA function in some Android devices.
I bought the EZ Cast HDMI WiFi Display Dongle from Dealdey Nigeria and it was delivered to my doorstep over the weekend. I will post a review of the EZcast HDMi dongle once I have time to fully explore it with my Android, iPad and laptop.

NB: Before you can use the dongle, you need to download the EZcast app to your Android, iOS device and to your PC.
